The Soloist
I watched the Soloist this weekend with Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. who worked for the LA Times in the movie. I thought it was an ad for the paper because it kept showing the building, gave it positive characteristics, and since the audience was supposed to like the reporter by the end of the movie I think the audience would think positively about the LA Times now too.

That seems like an effective form of advertising if you ask me. I have actually seen the Soloist and never really paid attention to that. Thank you for drawing that to my attention. I'm sure the LA Times had to pay to get involved in this feature film
