Jeep.com
I think that Jeep.com has good events to build and reinforce customer relationships. Their events have videos so you can not only hear people laughing and cheering, but also see their smiles while driving a jeep. One event they had was a woman going down a zipline which looked like a lot of fun. I think holding events that people enjoy and have a lot of fun at is very effective for consumers. Nathan's Hotdogs has their famous hotdog eating contest every 4th of July holiday. They sponsor this event with their hotdogs, and people from all over come to compete and watch. Since it's on the 4th of July it's family oriented which gives Nathan's a good name.

Like Jeep, Nathan's contest is also recorded and can be seen on Youtube. This is a great comparison because it allows people to experience the product as well as look forward to the brand's events. Even people who are not in the contest look forward to Nathan's contest because it is fun to watch and it gets people excited every year.
ReplyDeletethe hot dog eating contest and car shows are kinda the same thing, they both are pretty much just big advertisements for their products. Its the "Nathan's" hot dog eating contest, not the hot dog eating contest.
