Kia Commercial not effective

We found that this commercial was not effective because the characters that they used seem completely unrealistic and out of place. By adding cartoon characters seems like this commercial was advertising to kids, who can't drive anyway and are not going to Las Vegas because obviously they are under age. We understand that the toys are suppose to make KIA seem like a fun car to drive but it was a little distracting and didn't explain any important information that would make someone want to buy that car. For example, they are using kids toys and at the end of the commercial a child gets in the car, therefore they should give more explanations to why this car would be good for American families.

  1. this advertisement is not very effective in the use of the characters especially for a car commercial. They could have instead used a cartoon character that is more suited to adults such as Peter Griffin from Family Guy.

  2. After watching this particular commercial, I came to the conclusion that was not a very effective form of advertising. This commercial was actually dubbed as one of the most random commercials that aired during the super bowl. Personally I don't believe this commercial was effective because of the usage of cartoons characters. These characters were so random that its decreased the focus on the actual car. I think the underlining purpose of any commercial is to highlight the product that is being sold. That was not the case in this commerical

  3. To make a commercial very effective one has to understand what is being sold it did show that it was Kia commercial but with the cartoon characters it draws the viewers attention from the main point of what is being declared.
