Ad on Street

This sticker is an ad for www.sononewroonline.com and was stuck to the electrical box for the traffic lights at the corner of Treno Street and North Avenue. I chose to share this ad because I don't know about anyone else, but I don't usually pay attention to these ads. I notice them but pay no attention unless something catches my eye like extremely large print, a graphic picture, or something funny. If I didn't have to take pictures of ads for class Thursday, I would not have known what this sticker was advertising.

  1. I totally agree with you. I usually never look at the ads that are posted on the boxes for the traffic light signal unless there is something on there that grabs my attention, otherwise I just walk right past it

  2. I would also have to agree with you both. This particular form of advertising forces the viewer to actually stop and take notice. Such little forms of advertising are not dead smack in your face like billboards. Therefore an individual has more time to absorb the information and take it in.

  3. Normally I would not notice this advertisement either, however that doesn't mean I didn't look at it. If this advertisement grabbed my attention more, I would notice it better, however just walking past it on the street, it would probably just go into my subconscious or something. However, this ad is affective in regards to visibility. It is place where there is high traffic and in New Rochelle, which I believe this ad is involved with. However, because the ad only includes a website, a person might be reluctant to visit the site or too lazy because they are walking or in a car or may think that this is just a viral website because there is no other information given.
